§ Colophon
Made by working professionals,
for working professionals.
Nowrap is an independent, hand-curated directory of AI tools for people whose job titles include things like “principal,” “associate,” “agent,” or “MD.” We do not list every chatbot. We list the ones that do the job — and we say so when they don’t.
Every entry passes a four-point check: privacy policy on file, updated within the quarter, real human contact, and at least three verified user accounts. Tools that fail are quietly delisted. We don’t accept payment for placement. We don’t run interstitial ads. The whole operation is funded by a Friday newsletter and, eventually, an opt-in jobs board.
Editorial principles.
- 01
Useful before novel.
We index tools that change a Tuesday — not tools that demo well.
- 02
Privacy is a feature.
If a tool can't show its data handling, we can't list it.
- 03
Specifics over slogans.
We name the workflow, the input, the output. We avoid ‘empower.’
- 04
Verified from the outside.
We check what any careful user would: privacy policy, pricing page, real product behind the URL, active development. We don’t take vendor briefings as fact.
- 05
Delist quietly, list loudly.
We celebrate the good ones. We just take the bad ones down.
